CMA CGM Logistics signs new agreement with HMM

 

CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of CMA CGM, is connecting more shippers with shipping capabilities through a new agreement with South Korean ocean carrier HMM Hanshin Shipping (formerly: Hyundai Merchant Marine). In terms of capacity TEU, HMM is currently the eighth largest shipping company in the world, while CMA CGM is currently the third largest shipping company in the world. The multi-year deal, which runs until 2025, builds on the two companies' existing relationships and brings CEVA's network of strategic shipping partners to a total of 14 global and regional shipping companies. While HMM is currently CEVA's existing ocean carrier, the new agreement expands the relationship between the two parties, with both parties agreeing to a higher level of cooperation.

 

As an independent non-vessel carrier (NVOCC), CEVA manages full container (FCL) and less than container container (LCL) shipments to and from 237 countries around the world. The company offers over 60,000 port-to-port and 600,000 door-to-door combinations. In 2021, CEVA managed about 1.4 million TEUs of FCL and LCL ocean freight.
