CMA CGM revamps TYRREX 2 service, connecting Malta, Italy and Algeria

CMA CGM Short Sea Lines Division announced the reshuffling of the TYRREX 2 service as from the third week of the year.

The TYRREX service links Malta, Italy and Algeria.

This updated weekly service, beginning from Malta on 24 January, will enable CMA CGM to maintain a more environmentally friendly maritime link between Malta, the Tyrrhenian Coast and Algeria.

Furthermore, TYRREX 2 will boast a fleet comprising three vessels, each with a substantial capacity of 1,100 TEUs.

The service will follow a rotation, commencing from Malta and navigating through key ports such as Civitavecchia (Italy), Livorno (Italy), Napoli (Italy), Salerno (Italy), Catania (Italy), Annaba (Algeria), Trapani (Italy), before returning to Malta.
