The world's largest ultra-large container ship, Tessa Mediteranea, which was independently developed by China, was recently delivered at the Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard of China State Shipbuilding Corp., with a deck area similar to four standard football fields and a maximum cargo capacity of 24,116 standard containers, capable of carrying more than 240,000 tons of cargo.
